Song of the Day – Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol are a great band and I think you might enjoy this acoustic version of Chasing Cars. And as we all know, the true test of a song is how it sounds played acoustically!

Snow Patrol are an alternative rock band from Northern Ireland signed to Polydor Records. The band was formed in Scotland by vocalist/guitarist Gary Lightbody and bassist/keyboardist Mark McClelland, two students from Northern Ireland, who were at the time pursuing an education in Dundee, Scotland.

Very good band. Very good song. Underrated in my opinion, maybe their little wobble at Live8 is the cause of that. Nevertheless, one of many talented Irish/Scottish/Celtic bands to have emerged in the last 10 years.

I agree, I love that new one with the woman – you know the one. Set Fire to the Third Bar I think it is. Class.

Got something to say?
