First heard these guys back in 2002 and whilst I haven’t had the opportunity to listen to their new album ‘The Underground Is a Dying Breed’, I have listened to their latest single Stateside. I’m a fan, but not sure if everyone will be and as this is the green blog, may I say that I don’t support logging!
Hot Rod Circuit is a rock band from New Haven, Connecticut established in 1997. The band was originally known as Antidote under which they released the album Mr. Glenbowski, which won the group the award of Best Unsigned Band of 1998 by Musician Magazine. The band subsequently moved to Connecticut and released If I Knew Now What I Knew Then under their present moniker.
Hot Rod Circuit has toured with The Get Up Kids, Jazz June, Saves the Day, Brand New, Eisley, At the Drive-In, and Say Anything. Guitarist, and HRC front front man, Andy Jackson has actually toured as a member of the latter band.
