I used to have a little compost bin, but with the lack of a garden it proved somewhat confusing as to what to do with it. So it’s pleasing someone has decided to help us urbanites out, although a few thousand miles away from me in Washington DC.
Compost Cab provides customers with a normal bin equipped with a sturdy, compostable bag liner. And they go along their usual day-to-day composting and at the end (or I suppose the start or middle) of the week, Compost Cab comes along and picks up the bag. Jo done.
And if you use the service for more than nine months you can start to receive fresh compost in return, although living in a flat you may not have a garden so you can choose to donate your allocation to worthwhile causes.
